Reds looking to extend their perfect home record

The Liverpool vs Fulham live stream will see the Reds looking to make it seven wins from seven home EPL games this season when they welcome the Cottagers to Anfield today

Liverpool have turned Anfield into a fortress this season, winning all six of their home games in the league, scoring 17 goals in the process and conceding just two. Confidence will be high amongst the Reds, especially after their impressive 1-1 draw last weekend at Manchester City and they will be desperate to keep the pressure up on their title rivals.

The only negative for manager Jurgen Klopp is the fact that goalkeeper Alisson and forward Diogo Jota have both been ruled out through injury. That could mean Caoimhín Kelleher is handed a rare league start, while Luis Diaz is likely to get the nod in the place of Jota.

Fulham also have a number of injuries to contend with, though they will be able to call upon influential midfielder Joao Palinha who is back after serving a suspension. The Cottagers had struggled in recent weeks but secured a 3-2 win over Wolves on Monday night and will be hoping to produce a similar performance to last season when they frustrated Liverpool for long periods – only being undone by a Mo Salah penalty.

Line-ups

Liverpool: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

Subs: Adrian, Gomez, Endo, Konate, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Doak, Quansah.

Fulham: Leno; Tete, Ream, Bassey, Robinson; Reed, Palhinha; Iwobi, Andreas, Wilson; Raul

Subs: Rodak, Tosin, Ballo-Toure, Castagne, Lukic, Cairney, De Cordova-Reid, Willian, Vinicius.

Interestingly, the Reds have won of their home matches in all competitions this term, with Thursday's 4-0 victory over LASK to add to that.

As Liverpool progressed to the Europa League round of 16, Fulham will be looking to build on their 3-2 win over Wolves in their last league outing.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be glad not to have additional injury concerns after Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota suffered muscle issues in the Man City draw.

Caoimhim Kelleher is hence set to continue in goal for now, with Luis Diaz at hand to cover for Jota's absence in attack.

Otherwise, all of Andrew Robertson, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic remain sidelined through injuries.

Head coach Marco Silva is hopeful of being able to call upon the services of Joao Palhinha, who is back from a suspension. As a result, one of Tom Cairney or Harrison Reed will be relegated to the bench.

Although the Cottagers did not pick fresh concerns in the Wolves win, the likes of Issa Diop, Adama Traore and Rodrigo Muniz remain out of contention for the time being, while Tosin Adarabioyo has returned from a groin injury.

Alex Iwobi and Willian should be involved in attack again, with Harry Wilson having to remain content with starting on the bench.

Fulham picked up a timely win in their last outing, via a dramatic 3-2 home win over Wolves, but Marco Silva's team have not won away from home since a 1-0 victory at Everton on the opening weekend of the season.

Liverpool are back at Anfield as Marco Silva brings his Fulham side to one of the most daunting places around this season. The Reds have won all ten of their games at their Merseyside home this season as Jurgen Klopp builds what looks like another Premier League title challenge.

After such a difficult campaign last time out, Liverpool look back to their best. In fearsome form at home, the firepower Klopp has to call on is more than capable of blowing teams away. Fulham, then, face a hugely difficult task.

Silva’s side claimed a dramatic win over Wolves on Monday but have not won any of their last six away games. Though they have proven competitive opponents in the Premier League since Silva brought them back up, Fulham have not won any of their last six away games.
